Introduction:

Hello everyone, today we will talk about some unique flowers/plants/leaves in this world. I think you haven't hear about them before. When I first read about them, I was really very shocked that do these type of things really exist. But yes they really do. I am going to talk about five '5' unique flowers one by one & also their minor but important details.
So lets start:

1. Diphylleia gray (Skeleton flower):

The first flower we are going to talk about is Diphylleia grayi. This is also known as 'Skeleton flower' & it's mythical name is 'Chameleon of the woods'.
This is not just like any other normal flower, that you can pass by without noticing it. This is a very unique flower. Basically, this flower is white in color, large leaves round like umbrella & it blooms in late spring.
Interesting fact about this unique flower is that, on coming in contact with rain water, the flowers turn crystal-clear, thereby, earning the title "Skeleton Flower". Because during rain, it just look like skeleton of a flower.
What's more interesting is that, on drying i.e. after rain, when the water dries, the flowers turn white again. Have you thought how much interesting is this.
Another amazing thing is that, this flower is white in color but after pollination they turned into Blueberries.

2. Mimosa Pudica (Touch me not):

The next amazing & unique flower I am going to talk about is Mimosa Pudica. This is a very sensitive & soft textured flower. It is in the form of bushes & heavily armed by thrones. It's flower is pale pink in color, which is 1cm in diameter.
The interesting fact about this unique plant/flower is that when it is being touched, it's leaves fold up. It does so because it 'play dead' to protect itself from grazing animals. Therefore it is also known as 'Touch me not' flower or 'Shame flower' & many more. This flower can be found in central & south America's forests near the pineapple. How amazing is this right?

3. Antirrhinum (Snapdragon Flower):

The next one is, Antirrhinum, also known as 'Snapdragon' or 'Dragon Flowers'. The flower got this name because when its seeds die, its head resemble with the human skulls. Mostly these types of flowers are found in rocky areas of Europe & United States etc. Their were myths about these flowers that they held some supernatural flowers & was considered to be as a good luck. Another myth is that these flowers give lifelong beauty to the woman who consumes them.

4. Epiphyllum Oxypetalum(Queen of the night):

The next unique flower is Epiphyllum Oxypetalum, which is also known as the 'Princess or Queen of night'. It rarely blooms & only at night. It is a myth or a fact that it only blooms once in a year & the person who saw this flower while blooming has a very good luck. Its name "Queen of the night" symbolizes that beautiful moments are for a very short period of time & don't last forever, as it blooms for a very short time. When it blooms it look likes a full moon & have a very subtle scent. Its flowering mostly occurs during summer rains.

5. Dracula Simia (Monkey Orchid):

The fifth & last one is Dracula simia, also known as 'Monkey Orchid or the Monkey-like Dracula', because of its resemblance to Monkey's face. It is very popular among orchids collector because of unique monkey like face. It is mostly found in mountains of Southasian sides. It is a myth that they smell like monkeys but no it's not true they smell like ripe-oranges. It took much time grow, mostly nine months.
