Happiness means differently for different people. For some it is money, fame, luxuries, family & friends, power, passions & aims & many more. Some people wanted to get something but they aren't, so they become sad but that's not the right thing. According to me there are some basic things that a normal people also have & they can be happy, but they aren't paying attention to that. Let's talk about 'How to be happy with what you have.'
Family & Friends
This is the most common thing we all have. If we have no family, then there must be some friends or one friend or anyone that care for you. Simply you should also care for them. Spend you time with them, solve there problems as they solve yours & if they don't solve yours then that's OK when you'll care for them automatically they will start caring for you too. Take a step forward. If you have no friend then take the initiative first to make one. Trust me your life becomes very easy & you will become happy with what you have.
The moment
When you start living
For someone else,
a special one
You start to make efforts to make them
Happy,
It automatically makes you
Happy.
Try to find out your passion & work on it
It is very very important & plays a big role in our happiness. Some people loves poetry, some drawing, some cooking, some swimming, some photography, editing, crafting & many more.
The point is when you feel bore or low, simply divert your mind towards the thing you love to do & be happy with what you have. If you are a painter, try to paint the thing which is going on into you mind or the phase you are going through, on the canvas. If you are a dancer, for example, then dancing is the biggest healing or if you sing well, try to sing the pain or grief you are going through. Trust me you will feel so much relieved. Because I love drawing & sometimes it happens when I feel sad I draw things on a paper & it helps me.

Choose your aim & work on it
Don't be sad. You wanted to be something in this world, you tried & failed. So what try harder. You got failed then make it your strength not a weakness. If you wanted to be happy with what you have then, first think what you wanted to be. In simple words choose your aim & while choosing don't think that you are not eligible for it or this is not made for you. Just select your ambition & work harder on it. When once you will get even a little bit of reward you'll get satisfied & then you will work more on it & get more & more succeeded. Once you will achieve your ambition then automatically you will become happy but, the time in between your progress, do not lose hope. Happiness is not always in achieving something. Sometimes the very little & progressive things gives you pleasure.
Always remember one thing
Never think that,
"You can't do this"
Always think,
"You'll do this."
& In-sha-Allah
You will achieve,
what you want.
Never ever underestimate your self
Always love your self.
Love every scare of yours.
Be your own friend
Try to spend time with your own self. Sometimes you don't even know who you are, what you need, what are your positive & negative things, what are your likes & dislikes. So when you spend time with your own self you become friendly & happy with yourself. Just try to understand the inner self in you & you will be happy with your own self.
Be the purest of yourself.
